Formed in 2012, we are a small, friendly club based in the village of Clifford, just south of Wetherby.
From small beginnings brought about by the withdrawal of the local football skills company, from a couple of willing dads and ten children at the first training session we now regularly have over 250 children attending Saturday morning training and playing Sunday league and friendly matches.
Our aim is simple, to offer enjoyable football coaching and development to all local children from Reception upwards - currently our eldest age group is Under 14's for boys (school year 7) and Under 15s for girls. We offer an exciting and fun introduction to football and encourage development through focussing on ball mastery, small sided games and team work, encouraging participation and improvement to a wide range of abilities.
We have fully qualified FA coaches, all of which are CRB checked and first aid trained. The club has excellent facilities at the Clifford Community Sports Centre and if required Northways playing fields. In winter months we have astroturf training facilities so training or matches are very rarely cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather, meaning the players continue to play all season round.
We are members of the Harrogate Junior League, the Harrogate And District Junior Girls League and the Harrogate and Wharfedale Junior Friendly Leagues. We also have an under 14 boys team playing in the Hambleton and Richmond league as of 2019.

Clifford Juniors is run entirely by volunteers giving up their time to provide a fun and enjoyable environment for children to play football. Help is always gratefully received, whether it's helping to organise training sessions, cleaning the bibs, or providing tea and coffee for supporters on match days in our club cafe, we will gladly accept any offers of help.
